Expert Learning Support
Literacy Intervention
Structured, sequential, multi-sensory lessons using the Slingerland Approach adapting Orton-Gillingham science of reading methods. Students receive individually designed intervention or prescriptive tutoring that integrates handwriting, phonics, reading, spelling, and writing.
Math Intervention
Interactive, multi-sensory activities using Making Math Real and TouchMath methods. Students learn to use strategies to solve grade-level computation independently while building long-term memory of facts and procedures. Support goes beyond homework help by building missing or weak foundational skills in prescriptive tutoring lessons.
Study Skills Support
Students learn time management, organization, and executive function skills that help them be successful in a variety of subjects. These skills can be learned on a student’s current topics, projects, or essays from school and are targeted to the individual needs and learning profile of the student.
